“When my husband and son and I moved into
the neighborhood several years ago, we found a welcoming post card from Schroeder’s offering us a free flat of flowers. Living just a few blocks away, we packed our son into his wagon, walked over and picked out a few plants for our window boxes. We planted them as a family and every year since we mark the beginning of summer by walking down to Schroeder’s with our son and picking out new flowers for our window boxes. It’s our own little family tradition and it started because of Schroeder’s”
